This document describes the installation and management of the Dolphins SISCI PCI Express software stack on single machines or on a cluster of machines interconnected with PCI Express.
This software stack is needed to use PCI Express for host to host communication and consists of drivers (kernel modules), libraries, diagnostics, configuration utilities, benchmarks, documentation and more.
The SISCI API provides an easy to use programming environment with direct access to PCI Express features like PIO, DMA, Interrupts and peer to peer transactions.
This document is for clusters built using Dolphin PCI Express PX / Broadcom based products.
